Yoga for Menopause

The menopause is a natural stage of life that affects all women. It can be an extremely difficult time, with hormones fluctuating from our forties, and earlier, we can spend up to a third of our lives in this transition. With a range of varied symptoms, we can feel a little, or very, out of sorts. We all respond differently to this stage of life, some women will experience many symptoms, and others very few or none. But, our bodies are going through a transition, and eventually finding their new homeostatis. The good news is that we emerge from this time and experience what is known as "Second Spring".  A time of renewed energy, confidence & wisdom!
The menopause is an opportunity to give yourself some attention, and address what is important to you. A time to improve nutrition, exercise, and sleep routines, and create some new habits, that will nurture you, but also empower you and create a more positive mindset about this stage of your life.
These classes will consist of mindful gentle yoga, breathing techniques, meditation & relaxation to help support you during the menopause, and most of them are able to be practised at home, so you can become familiar with them & use them to your needs.
These classes are suitable for all women, including younger women going through early menopause, and non-identifying women  It's never to early to learn about the menopause and prepare, and the yoga practice is a stand alone beautiful nurturing practice. Whether you are pre-menopausal, peri-menopausal, (or not sure), menopausal, or post-menopausal you are warmly invited to join this class!
